After the awesomeness of Percrydread last month, The Reggae Take Over are back. Tonight they’re proud to present MC Brother Culture live and direct in Nottingham. Brother Culture has recorded tunes for The Prodigy, Mungo’s Hifi, Roots Garden and Reggae Roast to name just a few. He cut his teeth on Jah Revelation Muzik before going global with his insightful, innovative and often playful lyrics. A true performer with heaps of energy and an infectious positivity on stage.

The Spanky Van Dykes associated festival Field Day has just announced it’s first round of acts for official line-up to the 2012 event, which takes place on June 2nd in London’s Victoria Park. Scottish band and firm favourites of ours Franz Ferdinand have been announced as the headliners. They’ll be joined by the likes of SBTRKT, Metronomy, Beirut, Maya Jane Coles, Peaking Lights (who made possibly the album of the year), Andrew Bird, Gold Panda and a whole host of other exciting acts that are yet to be announced!
